Rainbow Six Siege Beta Runs At 1080p on PS4, 900p on Xbox One

That said, that may change by the time the final game releases.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege

Rainbow Six: Siege, the team based multiplayer shooter that Ubisoft announced at E3 last year, is being co-marketed with Xbox. So you would assume that the Xbox One version of the game would, at the very least, be on par with the PS4 version of the game, if not outright better thanks to supplemental content or better performance.

However, people in the beta for the game report that this is not the case- the game, while running at 60fps on both the PS4 and the Xbox One, runs at 1080p on the PS4, and only 900p on the Xbox One.

That said, there is still hope, Ubisoft says.

“We’re still looking to push the hardware as much as possible in order to deliver a quality experience for players and will be able to share more about the final resolution once we’re closer to release date,” an FAQ posted on the Rainbow Six website says.

Rainbow Six: Siege will be launching on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on December 1.
