In today’s day and age, games like Fallout 4 are a rarity, games that are developed, in secret, behind the scenes and quietly, away from the public eye, announced when they are nearing release, and then which get their first and last big push of publicity. It’s a good way to handle things- expectations are kept in check, there are no massive delays that upset fans, no pressure from constant public scrutiny and observation, and you get to show off a mostly finished product.

The flipside is, unlike modern games where we are so familiar with details about their development, we don’t know much about the development of Fallout 4 at all- since so much of it was done in secret. Thankfully, today we got two new videos which show us exactly how the game was developed, and what it was like. A lot of the information in these videos is stuff you may already know about, but this will be the first official confirmation that we get. And then there is, of course, the brand new information here too.

Fallout 4 launches on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC in November.
