Since this year’s E3, we’ve been hearing an awful lot about both Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy 15. It appears that all that talk about the game has led to more than a few people pretty desperately wanting to get their hands on both titles. It also appears that the more information that comes from these games, the more people want to play them. That much is underlined when Famitsu released its most recent list of games that are most coveted by its community.

Right now, neither game is actually at the top of the list, but both are rising steadily and have a nice presence. Monster Hunter X for the Nintendo 3DS is still the top dog but Kingdom Hearts 3 for the PS4 is currently ranking eighth on the list and Final Fantasy 15 is even higher as it’s rating as the third most wanted game on the entire list. So why is the latest Final Fantasy doing so much better than Kingdom Hearts 3?

Certainly part of the reason has got to be that Final Fantasy is just a longer running series and has more fans because of it’s length. The other reason is likely that it’s closer to being done than Kingdom Hearts 3. Neither game has an official release date, but there has certainly been more information about when we can start expecting Final Fantasy 15 to actually hit the market. It’s a safe bet that Kingdom Hearts 3 is only going to continue to move up the “most wanted” list the closer we get to the actual release.
