Destiny

If you play Destiny with any degree of regularity, you may have been alerted to a new quest at the Tower from the Gunsmith. Dubbed “The First Firewall”, you receive this quest after recovering four DVALIN fusion rifle relics (which drop regularly during PvE).

Completing it nets you a “Curious Transponder” item which requires a set of passcodes that then takes you to the Cayde’s Stash mission which must be finished in order to gain the IKELOS Fusion Core. From there, you have to collect items by dismantling a legendary or Exotic heavy weapon, completing the Archives mission on Venus and completing various “Defend the Warsat” missions on Earth, Mars and the Moon.

It should be noted that after turning these in to the Gunsmith, you’ll be met with a dead end and no further steps. Waiting is a good idea but above all, this is the quest which will net you the Sleeper Simulant, an Exotic heavy fusion rifle which functions a lot like a Spartan Laser from Halo. So keep at it if you want to finally get your hands on this awesomeness and we’ll keep you updated with more details about future quest steps.
