While we still don’t know that much about the games that are going to be coming for the Nintendo NX, it sure seems as if more and more studios are starting work on games for the upcoming mystery console. The latest company to be rumored to be starting development is Monolith Soft. The developer of such games such as Xenoblade, Animal Crossing and The Legend of Zelda has recently put out a new job advertisement on their official website saying they have urgent openings for mass hirings.
These hiring are happening at Monolith’s studios in Japan and Kyoto. It should be pointed out that the jobs that are actually listed as urgent and mass recruitment are very new and that would seem to indicate the team is indeed looking to be added to a brand new project. Previously, the company has said it would like to work on an RPG game that is rich in story and quite immersive.
At this point, there is no confirmation that the game that the company is looking to add team members for is geared to the Nintendo NX. What we do know is that the firm has put out plenty of games for Nintendo in the past. We also know Nintendo just recently sent out devkits to a number of different companies. Those two factors point to Monolith’s project possibly being geared for the new console.
