Batman: Arkham Knight Returns to Steam

And it's not quite issue-free for some players.

22. Batman

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment finally re-released Batman: Arkham Knight, Rocksteady’s thunderous conclusion to the Arkham trilogy, on Steam yesterday. The game was taken off of sale back in June when a number of issues like terrible frame rate performance, low-res textures, crashes and such were reported. Ironically enough, the Xbox One and PS4 versions ran perfectly.

Along with a re-launch of the game, a new 2.4 GB patch was released to bring the game up to date with the console versions. This patch enables all the features released on consoles till now like Photo Mode and Big Head Mode along with enabling support for all previously available DLC. We’ll detail the full patch notes in a later post.

It should be noted that not every user is having the smoothest experience in-game, as this NeoGAF thread proves (though some Reddit users have reported better performance since the patch in August). Refunds are available on Steam though so there is that insurance.

And hey, if you buy the game before November 16th, you get every Arkham game – Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and Arkham Origins – for free along with a community challenge pack in January (arriving first for PC users).
