Fallout 4

While there is very little doubt that Fallout 4’s launch was plenty successful, there have been some problems popping up here and there since the game went live. Some of those issues have been fixed thanks to the game’s very first patch but there are some other issues that have popped up even after that fix. One such bug has become even more problematic, because there doesn’t seem to be a cause and so far there also isn’t a cure.

One Polygon reporter warns people that the blurry vision bug is one that underlines the importance of not deleting save files. This writer reports he lost more than 25 hours of gameplay because he doesn’t think the blurry vision is ever going to go away. The player has even detailed the different things he’s done in order to try and get rid of the blurry vision, but it doesn’t appear to be something that is supposed to be in the game. The vision is similar to when you suffer a bad head injury in the game and he’s tried to treat it like that with a number of different solutions.

If there isn’t a cure, then we can be rest assured that it appears to be a programming issue. That means Bethesda is going to have to comment on and fix it at some point. For now, Fallout 4 has a game breaking bug that has no fix.
