Rocket League has been getting some excellent crossover content with other games ever since its release (at least the PC version), and that continues tomorrow when the game gets free Portal themed DLC. The DLC will include new parts for your car that are themed on Valve’s cult hit first person puzzle game, including an Aperture Laboratories antenna, Companion Cube, Personality Core and PotatOS antennas., and a cake sticker.

There will also be a cake hat, and, perhaps most nerdily impressively, the DLC will also let you turn your car’s rocket trail into conversion gel (beige), propulsion gel (orange) or repulsion gel (blue)- a detail that only the most hardcore of all Portal fans will probably notice and catch.

All of this will be free, and you can unlock it by completing matches- so don’t worry about having to buy things piecemeal.

Rocket League is available now on PS4 and PC.
