Just Cause 3’s launch was a bit of a mess on consoles- we know that, we covered it in our technical analysis for the game. But apparently, the PC version of the game isn’t getting off scot free either. Players are reporting multiple issues with the game, including glitches in the textures, disappearing water effects and problematic frame rates. The Just Cause 3 subreddit, NeoGAF threadand the Steam forums are filled with people reporting all these issues, and more.

The issues notably seem to be specifically with AMD cards. “There are some known issues that occur with the most recent official release AMD/ATi graphics card drivers. We’re working with AMD to fix the issue via an upcoming driver update” said a spokesperson for Avalanche.

In our own technical analysis, we ran the game using an Nvidia GPU, and we certainly did not run into these issues, so it seems that yes, these problems are restricted to AMD users for now.

Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and developments on these technical issues.
