Jade Raymond Calls Out Konami and Kojima For Not Including David Hayter In Metal Gear Solid 5

Konami had a rough time of it tonight, didn't they?

David Hayter

After Geoff Keighley publicly called the company out for their entire bullshit regarding how hey have handled the situation with Hideo Kojima, Jade Raymond, who had formerly worked with Ubisoft on creating franchises such as Assassin’s Creed and Watch Dogs, and is now working with EA on creating something else, called Konami and Kojima out for not including David Hayter in Metal Gear Solid 5, voicing what many fans have surely felt.

‘Can you imagine a Metal Gear game without David Hayter?’ she said, to general applause, probably forgetting that Keifer Sutherland was sitting right there.

Of course, I’m not sure if this was deliberate- Raymond seemed to be a bit out of it, honestly. She bungled her awards delivery too, so it’s entirely possible she, er, said something she didn’t mean to.

Oh well. Glad to see Konami being called out for their nonsense in any case, regardless of what the reason behind it may have been.
