Lionhead’s oft-delayed Fable Legends is still chugging along, remaining in closed beta as the developer claims it to be much larger than they envisioned. As a free to play game, Fable Legends will allow players to experience the entire game for free but it also means micro-transactions.

Said micro-transaction prices were leaked via NeoGAF, with a screenshot showcasing the Bank of Brightlodge, the in-game store. Various prices for Gold indicated that 850 pieces would cost $5; 1850 pieces would cost $10; 2850 pieces will cost $15; 6000 pieces for $30; and 12,800 pieces for $60.

With this being a closed beta, it’s likely that these prices aren’t definitive. That being said, players are alredy lashing out at Lionhead on Twitter about the same.

As it stands, this won’t be the first time a free to play title utilizes micro-transactions so it will be worth waiting to see what kind of content is offered and how far you can progress without spending any money. Fable Legends is out for Windows 10 and Xbox One in 2016.
