Konami has announced new FOB events for Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain today. Those who were expecting anything new will probably be disappointed; on the other hand, if you are one of those people who missed out on these earlier, but wanted to participate in them anyway, this will probably come as good news to you.

According to Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain‘s Official Website, from today until January 12th, players will be able to complete the Mosquito’s Legacy FOB mission. Mosquito’s Legacy is a beginner friendly mission, that allows players to conduct FoB invasions without worrying about retaliation, and earn S, S++, or S+++ rank soldiers in the process.

That’s not all, either- there’s also a new event thrown into the mix, though it seems distinctly more low key by comparison. The new Sleep Gas Grenade upgrade event will greatly boost the player’s PF’s Offensive and Defensive capabilities- as long as the player has completed development of the Grade 7 Sleep Grenade.

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is available on the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and PC now.
