Look, we still don’t know what the Nintendo NX is. Nintendo promised to talk more about it this year, but they haven’t so far- and they probably won’t until E3, which is usually where Nintendo likes to discuss their new systems.
But a new system is always a big deal- and Nintendo cannot afford to blow their showing at E3 this year if they are indeed planning on debuting their new system there. They can’t have a showing as poor as they did last year, or in 2013, or even the Wii U unveiling during 2012- they need to go all in with the kind of focused show that Sony had in 2013, before the launch of the PS4. It is, in fact, entirely possible that their Nintendo Direct/Digital Event format won’t cut it either- a new system demands a grand new show.
To understand exactly what it is that fans expect of Nintendo at E3 this year, the company is running a survey. A large part of the survey is actually about Nintendo’s general social media presence, but the back half focuses on E3, and on what fans expect from Nintendo at E3. If you want to make sure Nintendo hosts a live show this year, maybe go on and answer questions in that survey and make your voice heard. You can find the tweet below.
Would love to hear what you think about our social media channels. If you have a few minutes please take our survey. https://t.co/CZzHCPQgcs
