The announcements, world premiers, and trailers are obviously a big part of The Game Awards every year, but it is an awards show at the end of the day, and watching games be recognized and honoured with nominations and wins is also always a significant part of the ceremony. With The Game Awards 2024, set for December 12, now less than a month away, we’ll soon be learning which games have been nominated across all categories.
It’s been announced that the full list of nominees across all 30-plus categories at The Game Awards 2024 (voted by a global jury of journalists and critics) will be unveiled on Monday, November 18. Specifically, the nominees will be announced in a livestream that will go live at 9 AM Pacific / 12 PM Eastern / 5 PM GMT.
2024 has seen a number of notable releases that have garnered widespread acclaim, including the likes of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Metaphor: ReFantazio, Helldivers 2, Balatro, Astro Bot, and many others, so it should be interesting to see which games end up getting nominated across all of the categories- but especially the big one, that being Game of the Year, of course.
