Amidst all the excitement of Bethesda’s announcement of their DLC plans for Fallout 4, the free updates and support that is still due to all owners of the game was not forgotten about either, as Bethesda confirmed today that they are still working on further free additions, changes, and updates to the base game.

The most important of these is a completely overhauled Survival Mode that changes how you play the whole game: food, sleep, diseases, danger, and more, is all completely redone. In addition, Bethesda also confirmed that they will be working on more updates for the game, including optimizations made to the gameplay and quests.

Finally, Bethesda also confirmed that the Creation Kit, which is the official modkit for the game, is still being worked on; Bethesda will have more to share on this in the coming weeks, they promised.

Fallout 4 is available now on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
