No Man's Sky

No Man’s Sky is finally going to be seeing the light of day in just a few short months. Because of this, the developers have apparently been working overtime to bring a game that has had people quite excited since it was announced. We don’t mean the figurative “overtime” where someone is working hard but just a little bit longer than the normal work day. It appears there have been some marathon coding sessions for the team including Sean Murray who recently cracked a joke about how tired he was.

Murray took to Twitter earlier in the week with the message that he had just finished a 20 hour coding shift “full steam.” Having just emerged from whatever dank cave passes for Hello Games’ headquarters, the first thing he needed to ask was “what day is it?” He then continued the joke “where am I?” and “who is the president?” All joking aside, it was an interesting look into the kind of work a studio has to put in when it is coming down the home stretch towards final release.

This is especially true when talking about an independent studio that is getting set to release a hotly anticipated game. Hello Games has been talking about all the truly awesome things they want to put into the title for quite a while now. Living up to the hype that now surrounds No Man’s Sky is going to be quite difficult. Considering the fact that there were rumors about the game having significant problems not that long ago, it makes sense the team is working overtime. No Man’s Sky is due out on the PS4 and PC in June.
