Mass Effect Andromeda

It seems that Mass Effect Andromeda’s development cycle is going through a tough time. The game recently got delayed to Q1 2017 which means it won’t be coming in the Holiday season of 2016 anymore. While we’re not quite sure what has led to the delays we know there have been a few people who have left Bioware. A few months ago, Chris Wynn, the game’s development director left the company. This was then followed by the departure of Andromeda’s writer.

The latest departure came by way of an announcement by Cameron Harris, Andromeda’s Senior Editor who stated that,”I’ve decided to exit the video-game industry to return to Seattle for new opportunities there. I’ll be leaving BioWare in mid-April. I had a great time at BioWare, working with so many talented, passionate folks. I’m grateful for everything you taught me over the years. I wish all the best for my friends and colleagues at BioWare and across the games industry. You are some of the finest people I know. And to the fans especially: thank you for all of your enthusiasm and support over the past several years while I did this games thing.”

Bioware is certainly going to feel the loss of Harris who is a veteran in the AAA videogame world. The Senior Editor has worked on projects such as Gears of War 3, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Guild Wars 2, Dragon Age: Inquisition and of course Mass Effect: Andromeda.
