The Walking Dead Michonne

Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead: Michonne, a mini-series spin-off that focuses on the adventures of Michonne after she departed in issue 126 (followed by her return in issue 139), will see its second episode “Give No Shelter” releasing on March 29th.

A trailer for the same has been released and it contains a fair number of spoilers for those who haven’t played the first episode. Michonne, Pete and Sam will be working on escaping from the colony of Monroe. What is Monroe and why is Michonne there? You’ll need to play the game to find out (or find spoilers somewhere else).

The first episode “In Too Deep” received mixed critical acclaim at launch with praise for Michonne’s character but criticism for some of the more typical narrative devices used. What are your thoughts on the first episode and will you be picking up the second episode when it releases in two weeks? Let us know in the comments.
