Late last week, the controller for the Nintendo NX was supposedly leaked. The leak showed off a photo of what was purported to be the actual controller in action. Of course, there was quite a bit of talk that the leaked image of the controller seemed to match with the actual patent filing.

It should be pointed out that while there have been some people questioning whether or not the pictures of the controllers that were released  are real, Nintendo hasn’t attempted to deny that the pics are factual. As Dual Pixel pointed out, Nintendo did release a statement of sorts about the controllers and basically said that it won’t be commenting either way.

The firm said that, “Nintendo does not comment on rumors or speculation.” That shouldn’t come as a particular surprise, considering it hasn’t really addressed any of the rumors that have surfaced over the last few months when it comes to the Nintendo NX. We’ll just have to wait and see whether we really did get a sneak peek at the rather odd looking controller when the company decides to officially release information.
