Warhorse’s realistic open world medieval action RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance has apparently been delayed to 2017. This is according to a spokesperson who got in touch with WCCFTech. It also said that a more definitive release date could be expected sometime between E3 2016 and Gamescom.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance was slated to released this Summer on PC but was subsequently pushed back in order to accommodate the PS4 and Xbox One versions alongside it. It was still slated for launch this year but it could be that much more work is required.

Funded on Kickstarter in 2014, Kingdom Come: Deliverance saw a strong amount of enthusiasm from backers who contributed £1,106,371. This was further supplanted by funds to Warhorse’s official site. A beta was released to backers earlier this year.

What are your thoughts on the delay? Stay tuned for more information as Warhorse releases a general statement. Hopefully more information arrives post E3 sooner rather than later.
