Hitman

IO Interactive recently made some comments regarding a remaster for Hitman: Blood Money, the decade-old open world stealth title that many consider to be the finest in the series. However, PR manager Sven Liebold has since stated in an interview with the Daily Star that an HD version of the game is currently not on the developer’s road-map.

“Of course the old developers that worked on Blood Money, they still love the game, they’re very attached to it. But at this moment, we’re really excited where we are with the new game and we’re putting all our energy and creativity into creating new stuff.”

“As much as I would love Blood Money remastered, I gotta admit, I haven’t touched it in a while. I’ve got these fond memories of how it looked and felt to play, but it’s quite different to the direction we’re taking the new Hitman game.”

Never say never as usual though. “We’re always open and always listening to see what we can do. Maybe something will happen down the line…but right now, it’s not on our radar.”

The new Hitman will be receiving Episode 3: Marrakesh on May 31st for Xbox One, PS4 and PC so there’s still plenty of Agent 47 action to be had.
