Spider-Man PS4 Announced, Being Developed By Insomniac

Who better than Insomniac for something like this?

The rumors were true- there is definitely a brand new open world Spider-Man game in development for the PlayStation 4, and it’s being developed by Insomniac. We got to see a fair bit of footage for the game, and it looks like the new game will have the kind of style and humor that Spider-Man is known for – which makes sense, because who better to capture that than Insomniac? – while also delivering platers with a fluid open world Spider-Man experience, the kind we’ve all wanted ever since Treyarch’s Spider-Man 2 in 2004.

No release date, or even a title, was announced, which indicates that the game may actually be fairly early in development. But hey, it looks good right now, and it’s in the hands of a very capable studio. Plus, it just feels good to know that a AAA game based on a Marvel property might actually be releasing soon. That has been a long time coming.
