World of Warcraft Legion Features Xur-Like Vendor, Destiny Themed Items

He even looks like ol' tentacle face.

World of Warcraft Legion

With Bungie working with Activision, which itself is connected to Blizzard, it only makes sense that references for Destiny would appear in World of Warcraft.

That seems to be the case with the upcoming Legion expansion which features a vendor named Xur’ios (referencing Xur, Agent of the Nine) who sells items for “Curious Coins”. Xur’ios also carries a random item that changes each day and some of them include Krota’s Shield (in reference to Crota, the Hive Prince from The Dark Below), Gjallar’s “Horn” (referencing the Gjallarhorn rocket launcher), Mote of Light, Ingram’s Puzzle and Nightfallen Vendor List.

You can check out the references and prices here or in the video below but we find this to be a neat little nod to Bungie’s shared world shooter. In fact, it’s even better than Xur because Xur’ios has a better chance of carrying the item you want with his random daily item.

World of Warcraft: Legion will be out on August 30th for PC.
