Persona 5 New Trailer Shows Ryuji In Action

Atlus have today released another video for Persona 5, another short trailer focusing exclusively on one character. Which character? Well, this time we are apparently going to be taking a look at Ryuji, who seems to, at first glance, fill the role of the traditional ‘best friend’ for the protagonist (so like Yosuke from Persona 4 or Junpei from Persona 3).

But as this video shows, he might actually be more of a delinquent trouble maker than either of those- so more Kanji (from Persona 4) or Shinjiro (from Persona 3) than anything. He also seems to be focused on heavy physical attacks- so he’s probably going to be someone you want in your party at all times.

Persona 5 is set to launch on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 on September 15 in Japan, February 14 in North America, and some time later in Europe courtesy of Deep Silver. You can check out the new trailer focusing on Ryuji for yourself below.
