It looks like the launch of the Xbox One S has been really successful for Microsoft all around- we already knew that the console has been selling out since launch but now, MCV are reporting that its launch has caused a sales spike of 75% for Xbox One consoles in the UK.
The exact number of units was not specified, naturally, but a 75% spike is no mean feat- and if Microsoft can keep that sustained, then we could see them being competitive in the console market again, which is the kind of momentum they probably need in the lead up to the launch of the Xbox One Scorpio next year.
As of right now, the 2TB SKU seems to have sold out in the UK entirely, and Microsoft claim they have no plans to replenish stock- but the Gears of War bundle for the console is coming up soon, so anyone looking to get an Xbox One S for themselves in the region can probably just look at picking one of those up.
