Destiny

Exotic vendor Xur has returned to the Tower in Bungie’s Destiny, which saw numerous updates today for both weapons and the game world. You can find him near the Speaker where he will remain till September 11th, 2 AM PST.

This week, Xur is carrying An Insurmountable Skullfort (Titan helm), ATS/8 Arachnid (Hunter helm) and Apotheosis Veil (Warlock helm), each for 13 Strange Coins. Each has their own advantages, though they can be pretty situational. Apotheosis Veil, for instance, allows you to regenerate health as soon as you cast your Super.

The Exotic weapon is more worthwhile with the primary Bad Juju on sale for 17 Strange Coins. This pulse rifle automatically reloads your magazine with each kill and gains a damage boost in the process. Kills also help to quickly build one’s Super meter. It’s a great weapon for both PvE and PvP thanks to its stability and fast fire rate. The Legacy Engram is for Year One gloves and retails for 29 Strange Coins.
