Burnout Paradise Xbox One Backward Compatibility Still Being Worked On

"We hope to have more backward compatibility news soon," says Criterion.

Burnout Paradise

Criterion Games’ Burnout Paradise is one of the most wanted backward compatible games for the Xbox One.  Although the developer has already confirmed that it will eventually happen at some point, it’s taking an unusual amount of time. The developer was in talks with Microsoft about bringing the game via BC to Xbox One back in July 2015 and since then there has hardly been any updates on a release date.

However, earlier today Criterion revealed that news on BC will be coming soon. “Patience, Paradise fans! This work is continuing and we hope to have more BC news soon,” they tweeted. Fans have been waiting for almost a year now and to be honest, it’s taking a bit too long. Granted the team is engaged in other projects, but keeping fans waiting over a mere BC feature is painful.
