Destiny Nightfall Changed Following Skeleton Keys Complaints

Fallen SABER will properly bestow Skeleton Keys.

Destiny Rise of Iron

If you were busy running the Nightfall yesterday in Bungie’s Destiny, which was Winter’s Run for Rise of Iron players, you probably didn’t notice the lack of Skeleton Keys. These items are a fairly strong commodity since they open Strike-specific loot chests at Light levels higher than 365.

Players reported not receiving Skeleton Keys as a drop at all and thus, Bungie changed the Nightfall to Fallen SABER. Over on the Bungie Help Twitter, it said that, “We are actively investigating an issue where the Winter’s Run Nightfall Strike is not rewarding Skeleton Keys.”

Modifiers are still the same thankfully and they include Epic, Berserk, Small Arms, Chaff and Airborne. So count on plenty of hopping, jumping and skipping while shooting your enemies with no radar and their lack of stagger.

What are your thoughts on the new Nightfall? Let us know in the comments.
