Bungie has dated the Hard mode for Destiny: Rise of Iron’s Wrath of the Machine raid. It will be out on October 18th, which is a Tuesday so expect it to go live when the servers reset at 2 AM PST.

Not much is known about Hard mode aside from the Light level cap increasing to 400 Light when it arrives. Considering that players can go beyond the current “cap” of 385 LL, it wouldn’t surprise us if the raid ends up requiring 385 Light and above, eventually ending at 410 Light. That’s just a theory though.

Each section of the raid will have its share of challenges as well, much like The Taken King’s raid last year so expect those near the end of the year. In the meantime, players will “also partake in festivals and races” according to Bungie, referencing the upcoming Festival of the Lost and Sparrow Racing League events.
