The Elder Scrolls Online’s New Events and Housing System Detailed

New things big and small coming to the Elder Scrolls MMO.

The Elder Scrolls Online

The Elder Scrolls Online already has a rather big update planned, which will make the game truly open world, allowing players to go to any part of Tamriel in any order that they choose. But apart from that, there will also be some smaller, but nevertheless appreciated, updates to the game’s mechanics.

One of these updates is going to be the new housing system. The update which introduces this will launch some time early next year, and it will allow players to purchase and decorate their own homes. It will also allow players the ability to craft and sell their own furniture. So basically, it’ll be a translation of similar mechanics from Skyrim and Fallout 4. Players will be able to own as many houses as they wish to, with the first one being made available to them for free.

There will also be a new event, which will be Hollywood themed, in keeping with the spirit of the season. It’s called “Tamriel’s ancient autumn tradition,” and it will start on October 13, going all the way through to the beginning of next month. As is the case with events of this sort, it will reward players with themed recipes, gear, and more.

The Elder Scrolls Online is available on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
