Battleborn Receives First Paid Story Pack, New Multiplayer DLC

2K Games’ Battleborn has received its first story DLC pack today along with a new multiplayer mode. The new story “operation” is called Attikus and the Thrall Rebellion. It involves Attikus and ultimately saw him fight in the Thrall uprising on the planet Tempest. The DLC retails for $5 and is included with the $20 Season Pass.

New skins, taunts and other chances to earn Faction Commander Packs will be available with Gearbox promising a good amount of replay value with the DLC thanks to changing objectives, dialogue and enemies.

As for the new PvP mode, it’s a multi-phase 5v5 mode called Face-Off that sees players collect masks to deposit them in the map’s centre to earn points. First team to hit 500 points wins and unlock the story DLC, Face-Off will be available for free.
