15 Things You Need To Know About PlayStation VR

The PlayStation VR launches today- and if anything has a chance to help VR break into the mainstream, it’ll be this. The PlayStation VR is a cheap, high end VR headset, which doesn’t require a gaming PC to run- just a PS4 console. And it’s been receiving rave reviews in the lead up to its launch, so it’s not even like it’s a compromised experience or anything.

Sony probably understands this. That’s probably why they have been treating the launch of the PlayStation VR so seriously. VR may be an exciting new frontier for technology, and Sony may have the chance to dominate it as thoroughly as Apple did with smartphones and tablets- it’s an important launch for them.

And to ensure that we’re all on board with them on this thing, they’ve put out a rather sweet launch trailer, which seriously brings the hype. You can check it out for yourself below.
