Destiny’s Exotic vendor Xur has returned to the Tower and is currently lounging in the bar. You can find him there till October 23rd, 2 AM PST.
This week, Xur carries the Immolation Fists (Titan gloves), Skyburners Annex (Hunter helm) and The Stag (Warlock helm), each for 13 Strange Coins. Each item has its benefits – the Immolation Fists are recommended for Sunbreaker Titans, unlocking the Explosive Pyre perk for free, while Skyburners Annex allows for Hunters to generate orbs with heavy weapon kills.
As for the Exotic weapon, it’s the hand cannon Hawkmoon. It’s signature perks allow for two random bullets to deal increased damage. Unfortunately, even at 23 Strange Coins, the nerfs to the gun’s range and stability have put it on the backburner compared to weapons like the Palindrome or Eyasluna.
The Legacy Engram this week is indeed for Year One helmets so don’t bother wasting 29 Strange Coins on one for a chance at higher level Exotics (unlike last week where Year Three Light level Exotic gloves were being sold).
