Dishonored 2 Is Having A Lot Of Trouble On AMD Cards on PC- Report

This is the darkest timeline.

It looks like Dishonored 2 is going to be another troubled release on the PC- at least for those of you who have AMD graphic cards, in any case. NeoGAF users who apparently have the game early are reporting that the game seems to be ill optimized on AMD, seeing frame rate drops and stuttering performance even on reasonably powerful builds with lower settings.

Dishonored 2 is one of the PC games that supports a lot of NVIDIA technologies, so it was always to be expected that the AMD build won’t run as well- but it shouldn’t actually be this bad. The good news is that between a day one patch and the possibility of AMD releasing a driver’s update, this could still be resolved before most people go hands on with the game.

Dishonored 2 is the sequel to the 2012 stealth action game- it will launch on PS4, Xbox One, and PC later this week.
