Nintendo Switch is “Easiest” Among Big Three Platforms to Develop For

Take that, Sony and Microsoft.

The Nintendo Switch is several months away and there are still plenty of questions we have about the launch line-up, third party support and whatnot. Nintendo will be answering many of these in January during a live-stream event but if you’re wondering why publishers may be interested, then ease of development may be a key reason.

This is according to analyst Michael Pachter in a recent episode of Pachter Factor. Pachter said he “heard from developers that Nintendo is the easiest of the big three to develop for.” Considering the PC-like architecture of the Xbox One and PS4, that’s no small compliment for Nintendo’s next big thing.

Then again, how it’s marketed, the appeal of the hybrid platform and consistent support will also play a factor in its success. What are your thoughts on the Nintendo Switch and its ease of development? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information.
