Confusion rolled in yesterday when Destiny’s The Dawning ended and Sparrow Racing wasn’t added to Private Matches. The game has since been updated and Sparrow Racing is now available.
Players revealed a few options for the same which includes being able to set the lap counter from three to seven laps and adjusting the time of day. Enemies on the map will depend on the map itself but you can choose all four maps that were present during Sparrow Racing League.
And while SRL quests can’t be advanced in Private Matches, it still seems possible to complete tasks from the Record Book. The jury is still out on that one but Bungie has clarified that the Competitive Spirit Record Book can be completed through SRL Private Matches while the Year Two Record Book can’t.
