The second open beta for Halo Wars 2 is now available on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. This one focuses on the new Blitz mode and requires a 10.1 GB download on Xbox One and 11.96 GB on the PC. Check out the tutorial video below (or the latest blog post from 343 Industries) to learn more about Blitz.

Blitz is essentially a card-based competitive mode and there’s a lot to keep track of like energy, creating a deck and whatnot. Thankfully, it all looks fairly straightforward. The fact that most of the cards will be available to try out means there’s some serious mileage to get out of this beta. Unfortunately, only matchmaking is available so you’ll have to face off against actual players.

The Halo Wars 2 Blitz beta is available till January 30th on Xbox One and Windows 10. If you’ve already gotten into it, what are your thoughts? Let us know below in the comments and stay tuned for more updates.
