For Honor New Video Highlights Peer to Peer Connection Frustrations

Dishonorable disconnections.

Ubisoft’s new For Honor is a surprisingly deep, nuanced, and addictive game- it is also one of the few games on the market that actually manages to justify its always online connection requirements. However, at the same time, must those always online requirements be via peer to peer connections?

In our review for the game, we highlighted connectivity problems as one of the flaws holding the game back. Long after launch, people are still running into problems, which has more to do with the game’s peer to peer connectivity, rather than via dedicated servers. In fact, there is a new video that someone has compiled just to show off how frustrating this peer to peer connectivity can really be. You can check it out below.

Hopefully, this is a problem that Ubisoft addresses soon. For Honor is a great game, but if the community gets frustrated, it will go away and not come back.
