The Nintendo Switch has now officially launched following unprecedented levels of hype and anticipation, and people can now finally get their hands on Nintendo’s latest system which acts as a sort of console-handheld hybrid. And now that that is the case, people have started spotting some interesting things about the Switch that they may not have been able to before.
The Nintendo Switch’s Pro Controller has a hidden message on it, showing Nintendo’s love and gratefulness to their fans. Reddit user Tropiux has found this message and shared it online for all to see. Under the right analog stick of the Pro Controller, Nintendo have posted the message “thx2 allgamefans!” (thanks to all game fans). It’s bizarre and charming and it’s hard to see how the person even found this, but it’s awesome all the same.
In our review of the Nintendo Switch, we were impressed with the system’s potential, but stated that potential is all it has going for it right now. “It has a lot of potential to become a full featured device with more mass market appeal than most gaming systems,” we said, “but right now, in this present moment, that potential is all it has going for it. Nintendo has launched its best and most ambitious hardware ever with the Switch- but it’s a soft launch, a wide scale paid beta test. We’ll have to wait a little while longer to see it truly come into its own.”
