Nintendo Switch May Be In Stock Later This Week, Says GameStop

As early as March 22.

According to leading US video games retailer GameStop, Nintendo’s Switch, which has persistently and chronically been out of stock since its launch and it subsequently selling out, may be in stock again later this week. GameStop has announced that it expects stock of Nintendo Switch ‘as early as March 22,’ which is this Wednesday.

GameStop notes that costumers should still check with their local stores for availability of systems, and emphasizes that only the system will be available- none of GameStop’s custom bundles for it will be sold. “[We are] meeting this demand by securing additional systems as fast as we can to ensure customers are able to purchase this innovative gaming technology,” GameStop said in a statement.

So… if you want a Switch, which you may, given just how great Breath of the Wild is – you probably want to go by your GameStop this Wednesday. Meanwhile, hopefully Nintendo’s increased production for the system means that they can ensure steady supply for their new system going on from here.
