Final Fantasy 7 Remake Not As Anticipated As Trails of Cold Steel 3 According To Dengeki Magazine

This is quite a surprise indeed.

Japanese magazine Dengeki recently held a poll for their Japanese audience on what their most anticipated games in the next few years were, and the results turned out to be… well, unexpected. While megaton titles like Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Kingdom Hearts 3 are indeed included on the list, it is their placement on there that proves to be a head scratcher.

According to the magazine’s poll’s results, the most anticipated game for the Japanese audiences is Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III. Yes, more anticipated that games like Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Kingdom Hearts 3. In a way, it makes sense, since both those games are still a ways off from their official launch, but it’s bizarre nonetheless.

Dragon Quest 11 is also included on the list, in third place below and  Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is also on the list in 7th place. Omega Labyrinth Z and Gun Gun Pixels on fourth and fifth place respectively complete the list.
