Much of the gamer discussion sorrounding the Xbox Scorpio, besides its amazing hardware specifications, has been on its pricepoint. The Scorpio is indeed the most powerful console of all time and Microsoft have repeatedly claimed that it’s a premium hardware which is meant for the enthusiast community.

At this point, Microsoft haven’t announced a pricepoint for the Scorpio and judging by its specifications it won’t be cheap. However according to a listing on Spanish retailer Xtralife.es, the Scorpio will be priced at 399.99 €. Neogaf user eso76 got hold of an image showcasing the listing. However, it seems that the listing has been taken down which could be a hint that this price may have been correct and the company wanted to avoid trouble but this is mere speculation from our end.

However, we went ahead and verified whether this listing actually existed and according to Google search results, this listing was located at this URL: (https://www.xtralife.es/project-scorpio/project-scorpio/23531) As usual, take this report  with a grain of salt…retailer listings aren’t exactly unknown. ( Red Dead Redemption 2 has taught us that in the last few months.)

Microsoft is expected to reveal the release date and the price-point of Project Scorpio at this year’s E3. Thoughts on this? Let us know in the comments section below.
