Funcom’s Secret World Legends, a reboot of the developer’s MMO The Secret World, will launch on June 26th via Steam. It will be a free to play game that’s now a “shared world action RPG” as opposed to an MMO.

The developer has promised a number of changes including redesigned combat that will result in “more natural” action, improved visuals and a better flow to the quests. It will also be more appealing to new players in the early game.

The story for Secret World Legends appears to be unchanged as players team up to battle foes in a modern world teeming with ancient myths and legends. Those curious about the game can head to its Steam page now to learn more.
