Nioh Defiant Honor

The second DLC for Team Ninja’s Nioh finally has a release date. Defiant Honor will be out on July 25th according to creative director Tom Lee on the PlayStation Blog and there’s quite a bit to look forward to.

Along with new enemies, armour, weapons and so on, players can expect new difficulty levels and Trophies. Also, Sanada Yukimura – the so-called “greatest warrior of all Japan” – will be added to the mix. Lee noted that there would be new stages and sub-missions such as “Osaka Castle, the largest and most impregnable castle of Sengoku era.”

The story itself sees the Tokugawa and Toyotomi clans at loggerheads as Yukimura rallies his men and creates Sanada Maru, a stronghold outside of Osaka Castle, to fend off the Tokugawa army.

Nioh: Defiant Honor will be releasing for $9.99/£9.99 and is free for those who own the Season Pass. What are your thoughts on the second DLC especially considering how good Dragon of the North was? Let us know in the comments.
