Destiny 2 New Video Discusses The Game’s Sound Design

The one thing Bungie always nails in its game is how they sound. The ambient sounds, the music, the sound of the weapons, of the enemies- all of this is always superlatively good in Bungie’s titles. It’s an intangible, often overlooked, but undeniably major part of why their games feel as good to play as they do.

So of course, sound design is an important part of Destiny 2 as well- especially since this was one of the few things that the original game nailed. And in a new video on the game, coming to us courtesy of IGN, Bungie discusses more of what went into the game’s sound design, and how they ended up perfecting it for the upcoming sequel.

You can check out the video for yourself below. Destiny 2 will launch on the PS4 and Xbox One in September, and a little later after that on PC, in October.
