Dragon Quest 11 Western Release Confirmed For PS4

Now for the Switch and 3DS versions...

Dragon Quest 11 was confirmed for a western release last week, but at the time, platforms were not confirmed, leading to speculation about what systems the game might be heading to when it finally reaches our shore. However, it looks like Sony have gone ahead and confirmed that the PS4 version of the game, at least, is a lock for the western release.

The PlayStation channel has uploaded the localization video for the game (update: the video has been taken down), which low key confirms the PS4 version of the game is headed over with the localization, at any rate. The PS4 version was always the safest bet, so this does not come as much of a surprise- now we need to see if Square Enix will be bringing over the 3DS and Switch versions of the game (the latter of which is still not out in Japan yet) as well.

Dragon Quest 11 is due to release in 2018. For now, only the PS4 version has been confirmed for the localized release.
