One of the more exciting and intriguing upcoming Xbox One exclusive games is Sea of Thieves, a whimsical looking pirate themed shared world co-op adventure game that seems to be building up to be the comeback of fan favorite studio Rare. Sea of Thieves seems to have all the charm and drollness that made Rare such a hit to begin with- and it also looks to have some really fun gameplay.

All of that, plus the game’s excellent art, was shown off and highlighted in the new gameplay video for the game that was released today, which shows off some gameplay for the game in glorious, glorious 4K. You can, as always, check out the video for yourself below.

The game is being played by the developers in this video, and there’s some fantastic commentary by them over the footage through it all, too. Sea of Thieves itself, meanwhile, is due out on Xbox One and Windows 10 some time early next year.
