Pokken Tournament DX Demo Launching On Switch eShop Later Today

Gotta fight 'em all, on the go.

The Switch’s steady cadence of games continues- after Mario+Rabbids launches later this month, Switch owners can look forward to Pokken Tournament DX in September. But if you are not yet convinced of the merits of this game – especially since the Pokemon series has had a history of misguided spin-offs – then Nintendo has just the thing for you.

Tonight at 9pm PT (so midnight ET), Nintendo will be releasing a demo for the game on the eShop for you to download and try out for yourself. Not much is known about the amount of content in the demo- but really, it should be enough to sell you on this game, which was actually a really good fighter when it first launched on the Wii U, and should be even better with enhancements and additional content on the Switch.

Pokken Tournament DX will be launching on Nintendo Switch across the world on September 22.
