Overwatch Lucioball Guide – How To Win, Tips And Tricks

Playing football, Overwatch style.

I don’t know what it is with all of these ‘alt’ takes on football (soccer to my North American friends) that we keep seeing in video games these days – we had Rocket League, of course, and even Metroid got in on the action with Blast Ball – but here we are, with Lucioball, Overwatch‘s take on football.

You probably want to play it. More importantly, you probably want to win it. So here we are, with this guide, where we share some tips with you and try to walk you through winning at it- or maximizing your chances of winning at it, anyway.

Play with your team and hold your position. If you are a goalie, be a goalie- if you are an attacker or a defender, you can switch your position with the other, but it is paramount that you communicate and work with your teammate while doing so

Don’t spam Lucio’s Special. While it makes you go fast, much like in a good Sonic game, you need to slow down to take stock of your surroundings so you can react to them- if you spam the ability, then much like in a bad Sonic game, you won’t have any chance to react, and you become a passive participant

Cover the map- don’t all stay in one place. Maximum coverage means your team has a better chance of responding to wherever might need your attention
