Microsoft Manages To Sneakily Offer A Cheap Destiny 2 Xbox One S Bundle

Sidestepping Sony's exclusive marketing deal.

Posted By | On 06th, Sep. 2017

Sony has an exclusive marketing deal for Destiny with Bungie and Activision- and it seems to be a rather extensive deal, to the extent that the Xbox versions of the game can’t even apparently be acknowledged in public.

One of the fallouts of this deal is that Microsoft cannot offer Destiny bundles for Xbox- which is a problem, given how popular Destiny is. However, with Destiny 2 launching today, it seems like Microsoft may have managed to sidestep that technicality after all.

The Microsoft Store is currently offering the Xbox One S for $249, with a promotional offer that lets you get two free games with it- and the games just happen to include Destiny 2. As a matter of fact, this deal applies to existing bundles, too- so you could get a Minecraft or Forza bundle, then throw in Destiny and FIFA on top, as an example.

It’s actually a great deal- and it just happens to let you get the hottest new game in town, too. If you have even the slightest interest in Xbox, you should jump on it.

Thanks, TICGN.
